Wind Farm Layout Optimization with Different Hub Heights in Manjil Wind Farm Using Particle Swarm Optimization

Nowadays, optimizing wind farm configurations is one of the biggest concerns for energy communities. The ongoing investigations have so far helped increasing power generation and reducing corresponding costs. primary objective this study to optimize a layout in Manjil, Iran. optimization procedure aims find optimal arrangement best values hubs its turbines. By considering regimes geographic data considered area, using Jensen’s method, turbine wake effect proposed configuration simulated. function problem set such way turbines as well electricity costs, based on Mossetti cost function, by implementing particle swarm (PSO) algorithm. results reveal that given leads 10.75% increase capacity 9.42% reduction cost.
